2012 Science Olympiad Summer Fun Camps - The Sallie Mae Fund Scholarships
A generous endowment provided by the Sallie Mae Fund allows us to provide full scholarships every year to two students who otherwise would not be able to attend this camp. The Sallie Mae Fund, a charitable organization sponsored by Sallie Mae, works to increase access to postsecondary education for America's students by supporting programs and initiatives that help open doors to higher education. Indiana University and the Summer Science Olympiad Fun Camp are very grateful to the Sallie Mae Fund for its support, and are very pleased to be able to provide these scholarships every year. To be considered for a Sallie Mae Fund Scholarship or other scholarships all applications must be complete, please see below for application instructions.
To apply for one of the Sallie Mae Fund Scholarships or for other available scholarships and financial aid, you must:
- Fill out and print the scholarship application
- Submit an Online Registration Form for the camp week you wish to attend
- Write a 300 word essay on why you want to participate in the Science Olympiad Summer Camp
- Obtain an official school transcript
- Copy of your most recent tax return (please black out all social security numbers before sending)
- Mail scholarship application, essay, transcript, and tax return to arrive NO LATER than MARCH 1, 2012. Please mail application and supporting documentation to:
