The Topics/Freshman Seminar curriculum is an exciting, innovative introduction to college-level
learning in the College of Arts and Sciences.
This site provides information for students thinking about coming to Indiana
University who are wondering about the requirements and challenges of their
first years here; and faculty - especially newcomers to the College - who
are interested in teaching a Topics/Freshman Seminar .
We'll tempt you with details of three courses from the three divisions. Then
explore the selection of nearly 100 courses throughout the three divisions
of Arts and Humanities, Social and Historical Studies, and Natural and
Mathematical Sciences.
